(1) Statistical Specialist I (SG-13) - Contract of Service Worker

Contract Duration: 06 February to 30 June 2023 (Subject for renewal for 2nd semester 2023)
Place of assignment: RSSO-SOCD

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree preferably in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, and other related courses;
2. With at least one (1) year of demonstrated ability in data analysis and project management, data visualization, and statistical surveys and has working knowledge in Office software (e.g., spreadsheet, word processing, and presentation);
3. With at least eight (8) hours training preferably on statistical methods, tools, project management, processes and/or other related filed;
4. Career Service Professional/Second Level Eligibility;
3. With good written and oral communication skills;
4. With good moral character;
5. Willing to work on weekends, holidays and beyond 5:00 pm, if necessary;
6. Does not have any existing work contract with other office/agency.

Major Functions:

1. Collect, process, and consolidate administrative data and other indicators, including relevant news clippings;
2. Assist the focal person in the region in ensuring responses in establishment-based surveys (e.g., QSPBI, MISSI);
3. Analyze data and prepare write-ups for statistical reports, press releases, and advocacy materials;  
4. Manage and update the PPA database in the region;
5. Prepare documentation reports of PPA activities; 
6. Coordinate with PSA central, regional and provincial focal persons regarding PPA related activities.

 

(5) Statistical Analyst (SG-11) - Contract of Service Worker

Contract Duration: 06 February to 30 June 2023 (Subject for renewal for 2nd semester 2023)
Place of assignment: PSA-Basilan (1), PSA-Lanao del Sur (1), PSA-Maguindanao (1), PSA-Sulu (1), PSA-Tawi-Tawi (1)

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree preferably in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, and other related courses;
2. Career Service Professional/Second Level Eligibility;
3. With good written and oral communication skills;
4. With good moral character;
5. Willing to work on weekends, holidays and beyond 5:00 pm, if necessary;
6. Does not have any existing work contract with other office/agency.

Major Functions:

1. Assist in the collection, processing, and consolidation of administrative data and other indicators, including relevant news clippings;
2. Assist in the coordination with data source agencies in the collection of data and indicators as inputs in the PPA estimation;
3. Assist the focal person in the region in ensuring responses in establishment-based surveys (e.g., QSPBI, MISSI);
4. Assist in the analysis of data, and preparation of write-ups for statistical reports, press releases, and advocacy materials;
5. Provide technical and administrative support in the conduct of trainings, workshops, forums in the province.

f. Ensure proper receipt and control of all civil registry documents for registration under the PhilID Registration Assistance Project;
g. Submit weekly and monthly accomplishment report to immediate supervisor;
h. Prepare and submit narrative report on the status of the project;
i. Enjoin cooperation and involvement of various agencies/relevant parties on activities related to the Project;
j. Act as Focal Person for the PhilID Registration Assistance Project in the region;
k. Conduct regular Information, Education and Communication (IEC) activities concerning civil registration;
l. Assist in the procurement and allocation of supplies and materials to be used in the project; and
m. Perform other tasks assigned by the Immediate Supervisor and the Regional Director.
 
Rate: SG 8 - P 18,251.00 per month plus 20% Premium

Applicants are required to submit the following:

1. Application letter/s stating the specific position title/s with salary grade (SG) level and specific division/province or station of assignment as posted. An applicant may apply for a maximum of two (2) positions regardless of occupational group;
2. Two (2) original copies of duly accomplished Personal Data Sheet (PDS) with recent ID picture taken within three (3) months prior to submission of application (CSC Form No. 212, Revised 2017) duly subscribed and sworn to before an authorized administering officer with Work Experience Sheet (CSC Form No. 212 – as Attachment) (if applicable);
3. Photocopy of authenticated Eligibility (SC, CSC, CESB, RA 1080, PRC, PD 907, etc.);
4. Photocopy of Transcript of Records;
5. Photocopy of Certificate/s of Training participated within the last five (5) years relevant to the position applied for (if applicable);
6. Certified true copy of Individual Performance Commitment Review (IPCR) or its equivalent for the last rating period (for applicants with work experience);
7. Affidavit of Informed Consent, Waiver and Undertaking of Compliance to the Minimum Qualification Standards and Requirements;; and
8. For SG 24 applicants: Certification from authorized personnel, indicating that they are performing supervisory functions, including the specific period and number of subordinates.

6. PSA respects the Next-in-Rank principle in the Omnibus Rules on Appointments and Other Human Resource Actions (ORAOHRA) subject to qualification standards and requirements of the position. However failure to submit the application and/or PSA Human Resource Merit Promotion and Selection Board (PSA – HRMPSB) Form 2 (Waiver as Next-in-Rank Form) by any PSA employee considered as next in rank is automatically a waiver of his/her privilege.
