Age and Sex Distribution of Marawi City (Based on the Results of 2015 Census of Population)

According to the 2015 Census of Population (POPCEN 2015), Marawi City, the capital of Lanao del Sur, has a total population of 201,785 persons, of which 51.5 percent were males and 48.5 percent were females. The population pyramid of Marawi City is presented in Fig. 1. It shows that larger percentages of the population in the City are in the younger age groups.

Age and Sex Structure of Sumisip Municipality (Based on the Results of 2015 Census of Population)

Sumisip is a 1st class municipality with 29 barangays in the province of Basilan. Based on the results of the 2015 Census of Population (POPCEN), the population of Sumisip reached 41,730 as of August 01, 2015. About 49.3 percent of the population are males and 50.7 percent are females. Figure 1 shows that the population of Sumisip is thicker at the younger age groups.

Age and Sex Structure of Maluso Municipality (Based on the Results of 2015 Census of Population)

Maluso is a 4th class municipality with 20 barangays in the province of Basilan. Based on the results of the 2015 Census of Population (POPCEN), the population of Maluso reached 40,646 as of August 01, 2015. About 49.8 percent of the population are males and 50.2 percent are females. Figure 1 shows that the population of Maluso is thicker at the younger age groups.

Age and Sex Distribution for the Municipality of Datu Odin Sinsuat (Based on the Results of 2015 Census of Population)

The municipality of Datu Odin Sinsuat, is a 2nd class municipality in the first district of the province of Maguidanao with 34 barangays. According to the 2015 Census of Population (POPCEN 2015), it has a total population of 99,210 persons, of which 50.3 percent are females and 49.7 percent are males. The population pyramid of the municipality of Datu Odin Sinsuat presented in Fig. 1 indicates that larger numbers of the population in the municipality are in the younger age groups.

Age and Sex Distribution for the Municipality of Datu Paglas (Based on the Results of 2015 Census of Population)

The municipality of Datu Paglas is a 4th class municipality in the second district of the province of Maguidanao with 23 barangays. According to the 2015 Census of Population (POPCEN 2015), it has a total population of 28,387 persons, of which 50.6 percent were males and 49.4 percent were females. The population pyramid of the municipality of Datu Paglas is presented in Fig. 1. It shows that larger percentages of the population in the municipality are in the younger age groups.
