23 February 2021 – Philippine Statistics Authority – Tawi-Tawi launched the Step 2 Registration of Philippine Identification System (PhilSys).

As the first province in Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) who undertake into the Step 1; Tawi-Tawi as of March 02, 2021 already registered almost a thousand of its constituents in Bongao. The rest of the province will be on this March 2021.

For Basilan, Lanao Del Sur, Maguindanao and Sulu, the Step 2 Registration will be on the 2nd Quarter of this year.

We are urging the public for the support and coordination of this undertaking.
