PSA-BARMM conducts 1st 2020 PSO Conference
PSA-BARMM conducted the 1st PSO Conference for CY 2020 last 06 March 2020 at PSA-BARMM Regional Office, Cotabato City. This was facilitated by the Office of the Regional Director (ORD), presided by OIC-Regional Director Razulden A. Mangelen; and was attended by the Provincial Statistics Officers (PSOs), division chiefs and section heads. This event aims to provide a venue for the Regional Statistical Services Office (RSSO) to report the agency’s accomplishments and updates, as well as raise issues and concerns involving PSOs.
The agenda of the meeting focused on four main points – 1) 2020 1st Quarter Director’s Conference, 2) 2020 CPH Operational Plan and Implementation, 3) Status of Mandatory Reports as of 31 December, 4) Audit Findings during Audit Exit Conference last 28 February 2020, and 5) Others Matters.
OIC-RD Mangelen gave updates on the matters discussed during the 2020 1st Quarter Directors’ Conference. This was followed by the discussion of 2020 CPH Operational Plan and Implementation by Mahmur H. Sarail, Chief of the Statistical Operations and Coordination Division (SOCD). This includes the EARF, Status of Maps Printing/Workload; Census Board Convening; Training Plan; and Other Census Operation Strategies. Moreover, Norhayyah A. Tula, Senior Statistical Specialist, reported the 2020 Agricultural Statistics Operation Status; while Aquessa L. Macud, Statistical Specialist II, reported the 2020 Household and Esbtalihsment Survets Status.
Cayang M. Macud, Chief of Civil Registration and Administrative Support Division (CRASD), reported the status of submission of Administrative Reports. Reports on Finance and Human Resource were presented by Rufaidah T. Ibrahim, Accountant III, and Noraisa E. Nur, Administrative Officer IV/HRMO. Ibrahim also shared to PSOs the audit findings reported by PSA-BARMM Auditor during the recently conducted Audit Exit Conference in the previous month. This was followed by the presentation of Civil Registration (CR) Status Report (Monthly CR Reports Submission to PSOs and CO) by Delson A. Yusop, Registration Officer IV. Moreover, Farhana Jane S. Linso, Statistical Analyst, reported the Status of PCNR Submission for 2019 and as of February 2020.
