PSA-BARMM, finalist for BSP Award
Philippine Statistics Authority – BARMM (PSA-BARMM), represented by OIC-Regional Director Razulden A. Mangelen, received a Certificate of Recognition from Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) for being one of the finalists for the Outstanding Partner Award under the category of Report on Regional Economic Developments in the Philippines – BARMM. The certificate was received by OIC-Regional Director Mangelen during the 16th Awards Ceremony and Appreciation Lunch for BSP Stakeholders last 06 August 2019 at Sydney Hotel, General Santos City. This aims to recognize its outstanding partners that supported BSPs various initiatives and advocacy programs in 2018.
“One Team One Goal: Resilient Partnership Towards Inclusive Economic Growth” was the theme for this year’s BSP Awards Ceremony. BSP recognizes the growing importance of strengthening stakeholder engagement in the formulation of proactive policies that helps create an environment that is conducive to a sustainable and inclusive growth of the economy.
A total of 14 awards were given to outstanding stakeholders in Region XII and BARMM. These include one Gold Hall of Fame Award under the following award categories: 1) Information Support, which is awarded to survey respondents and information partners who assist the BSP in formulating data-driven monetary policy; and 2) Advocacy Support, which is given to BSP’s exemplary partners for their significant contributions to BSP’s programs, namely the clean note and coin policy, coin recirculation efforts, conduct of public information campaigns, and Knowledge Resource Network initiative.
