PSA-BARMM conducts Training on Financial Reports
PSA-BARMM conducted the Training on Proper Procedures, Attachments and Segregation of Disbursement Vouchers and Liquidation Reports, Preparation of Financial Reports and Electronic Filing of Tax Remittance Advice (TRA) for Provincial Financial Staffs on 29 to 30 April 2019 at PSA-BARMM Regional Office, Cotabato City. This event was initiated by Ms. Rufaidah T. Ibrahim, Accountant III of PSA-BARMM, and headed by OIC-Regional Director Razulden A. Mangelen and CRASD Chief Cayang M. Macud.
Ms. Ibrahim discussed the Financial Matters on the first day. This includes the general flows of the Disbursement Vouchers (DVs) and Accounting procedures. She also discussed the General Journal which encompasses NTA, TRA, Salaries and Dues, Depreciation and Correcting and Adjusting Entries, Cash Advances to Officers and Employees, Payroll and Operating Expenses and Bank Reconciliation. The lectures were followed by workshop sessions such as actual segregation and bundling of DV reports using the actual April 2019 DVs and Liquidations brought by each participant.
On the second day, Ms. Normeena H. Arab, Bookkeeper of PSA-BARMM, lectured on Tax Remittance Advice (TRA) and the Government Fare Agreement (GFA), the online procedures of filing and updating Tax Remittances. She also discussed online booking of tickets and other related issues.
Participants expressed their impressions on the training. They are glad for meeting their co-bookkeepers and thankful for having the opportunity to improve their performance in their functions. The training was concluded with the closing remarks of Ms. Ibrahim and awarding of certificates to the participants.
